For our office in Genk we are searching for an Intern Operations.
During a period of 12-14 weeks you will gain an insight into our operational way of working. Via “on the job” training you will get to know the different operational departments (operational customer service, trucking planning and train planning) and understand their daily tasks and responsibilities. Besides, you will be supporting in projects that are current at that moment. Some examples of current ongoing projects are waiting hours procedure, pallet management, liner management…
You will build experience in:
- Professional communication with external parties;
- Truck planning processes;
- Train planning processes;
- Follow up of drivers;
- Professional inter-department communication.

We are looking for an ambitious intern. You are social, flexible and can work both independently as in a team.
- You are a 3rd year student in the direction of logistics management.
- You have good communication skills.
- You have a good knowledge of English.
