International Management Trainee


Move Intermodal is an international logistics service provider, having a leading role in the European transport market. With an own network of offices, transport companies, intermodal train connections and warehouses we are able to offer our clients door-to-door transport solutions in Europe.

Our fleet of over 2.500 loading units, 150 trucks and 40 own trains per week ensure that our 280 employees in 7 different countries can offer an optimal service to European top companies in a.o. the automotive-, retail- and food industry. We are continuously searching for enthusiastic people willing to grow with us in this dynamic market.


During your first months as Management Trainee, you will follow an internal training program “on the job” in Genk (BE). Per period of 4 to 6 weeks, you will rotate in every department of the company. During the second part of your traineeship, you will go international (IT, ES and/or TR) and support our offices on a tactical/strategical level. These projects arise from the needs of the business and our continuous improvement program where everybody can apply ideas. So you can decide yourself on which project you want to work on.

During your traineeship, we will focus on your personal development. Together with your coach, you determine a personal development program. In this way, we can both work on the substantive knowledge as the development of your own soft skills (e.g. communication, change management and leadership). Our shared ambition is to allow you to grow into a responsible position. During your traineeship, you will report directly to the CEO.


We are looking for an ambitious starter. You are social, flexible, and ambitious and you can work both independently as in a team. You are willing to travel internationally and live abroad for a longer period. You are also eager to learn an extra foreign language. Move Intermodal has set many challenges, but we also expect a pro-active attitude to create this for yourself.

  • You have recently completed a master’s degree in the direction of logistics management, business administration or economics.
  • Professional experience is not a must.
  • You have good communication skills
  • You have a good knowledge of English
  • Basic knowledge of German or Italian languages is an advantage
