For our office in NL-Rijsbergen we are searching for an Account manager (1.0 FTE).
You will be part of the international sales team. Your focus will be on the sales area Netherlands and forwarding business.
Every week starts with a team briefing in which you, together with the team, determine priorities and agree on the sales targets.
As an account manager you nurture the relation with existing customers. You keep them close to Move Intermodal and spot new opportunities which you acquire in function of the company’s needs. Moreover there is a target to also increase business from new prospects for our own wheels but more specifically for our forwarding department. You are free to plan your own agenda but we expect you to do 6 visits per week to prospects and customers (30% hunting, 70% farming). You calculate and negotiate about prices and conditions and make quotations based on that information. Your colleagues will strongly support you here. Your professional attitude, sales-technical skills and negotiation techniques will make you expand the order volume. By the means of regular reports you discuss and analyze your sales results with the Commercial Director.
We are searching an entrepreneur and enthusiastic colleague. You are social, ambitious and able to operate as well on your own as in a team.
- You have 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in sales, account management or customer service.
- You are flexible, can deal with stress and show a strong doses of self-confidence.
- You have a pro-active attitude and take initiative to visit existing customers and prospects.
- You have excellent negotiation skills and high focus on customer satisfaction.
- You are good with numbers to make and understand calculations by yourself.
- You are able to speak and write fluent Dutch and English. Knowledge of a third language is a plus.
- You have experience with MS Office.
- You have a driving license B.
